This week the beaches out of Anclote have seen a snook explosion! One client, who proved to be a tried and true sportsman, really enjoyed sight casting to snook up and down the beach all day long. He claimed that being able to get so close to fish in mere inches of water was worth the price of admission entirely! I thoroughly enjoyed watching him expertly lay that bait so gently in front of those finicky snook that they snatched it time after time. We had a blast together!
Today, an old friend and I fished the bay which produced more snook, cobia, and kingfish and mackerel are heavy
In other news we’ve been super successful bow fishing, catching cute little sting rays and tasty mullet by the droves.
Early morning bait gathering sometimes provides me with an overwhelming sense of the sublime. The peaceful moonlight looks like diamonds dancing on the surface. And then when the color breaks the horizon, I am in awe of the wonder of nature. This is my church. So enjoy the photos I take to try to capture its essence and share it with those of you, like my wife, who are never out that early;)
